Ok, first

Ok, first Outboard for me... but not new to mechanics. When I come back to the dock after running for a few hours (or even when departing for the day) and I attempt to shift from FWD to REV (yes I wait for the prob to wind down) the engine will stall. I am going to run some SeaFoam tomorrow as well as changing out the plugs.
My first thought is to remove the carbs, disassemble, soak over night (no plastic though!!), rebuild with carb kits and give it a shot. I do not think that there was much maintenance done on this motor over the years (other than lower unit oil changes and spark plugs.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
