Warm engine no idle engine lags with quick throttle advance

"93 bayliner 5.7 I/O, seems like when the engine is warm it dosent want to idle, it cranks back up ok but with a little help from the neutral. throttle advance. also when giving it all she has the engine lags and bogs down, this is not aparent when slowly advancing throttle to max, any ideas?"

Sounds like it is time for a carburetor cleaning and rebuild. Could have blocked / restricted circuits / ports plus the accelerator pump may be failing.
