"I've got a completely rebuilt Crown for my boat restoration project (did the engine while waiting for the wood to air-dry). I've never started the engine, but could without much trouble. It is now apparent that it'll be '08 ('09?) before I get in the water, and I want to mothball the engine until then. It'll be stored in an unheated barn, plastic-bagged with some air-drying bags - silica gel, and will go through a few Vermont summer/winter temperature swings. My concern is having the interior of everything coated with the right stuff, and I have never had to do this before. So... recommendations? Thanks!"
