"I have a 69 318 that had overheating problem,I changed the exaust manifolds,risers,head gaskets,intake manifold gasket,raw water pump.Now I can run slow or idle, but with any load water shoots out the overflow on heat exchanger.It is a closed system and I have checked all passages no clogs."
 
I was trying to post a new thread but can't figure out how to do it. I just bought a new rebuilt engine and where there should be a R or L it has a P. Does anyone know what rotation this would be?
 
If you 'go up 1 level', above a given post, the 'post new thread' button should appear at the top....

If you are referring to a model/serial number identifier (L or R), all bets are off with a rebuild....you'd have to ask the rebuilder given the data (lack of specifics) in you post...
