to replace the grease in this 18 hp 61 Johnson I need to know what grease to get and what type of fitting to put on the grease gun in order to accomodate the fittings on the motor--are these fittings replaceable?? they look pretty chewed up--

"Tom...Most of those old OMC engines had (molded-on) grease fitting and there is a special end that will fit them and if the nipples are not messed up too bad you can use you regular grease gun, just loosen the adapter on the end so it'll slip over the grease nipple snug. You can buy the marine grease at WalMart in the automotive section. Sometime you can find the tubes of grease with a plastic, pointed style tip that will fit over the nipple easily.
