What Chrysler motor do I have

I am living in South Africa n

I am living in South Africa nand have bought a boat with a Chrylser marine engine model m400bwr10/641.

Is this a 400 cubic inch motor. It has a Carter 4 barrel carb. It really moves my boat and is a lovely motor. It is the first inboard that I have ever owned.

Is there some way that I can find out how old it is ?
 
"Look for a casting number on

"Look for a casting number on the engine block (sorry, I'm not familiar with where they are on Chrysler blocks), then just look up the number in a reference manual or online. The casting number will give you the year and displacement of your engine.
