"Hello to all, I have been helping a friend with his outboard (1986 Johnson 60hp 3cyl W/T&T) and I can't figure it out. We have no spark on anything. We have power going into the power pack but nothing coming out, I disconnected kill circuit and still nothing. New power pack and still no power from pack to coils....Any suggestions and info will be greatly appreciated. You guy's helped get mine going so i have faith in you all. "You've got power going to the pack? Hopefully you don't mean battery voltage as that will destroy the pack.

Remove the spark plugs, disconnect the RED electrical plug at the engine, crank the engine by jumping the starter solenoid (Bat terminal to small 3/8" nut). If you now have spark, in all probability the ignition switch is faulty."
