I have a 1988 35 HP Mercury th

I have a 1988 35 HP Mercury that will start and run on for a few mins and then stall out. I have replaced the tank and fuel pump hose. Does anyone have any suggestions as to what to check next? The motor set up for 2 years.

"Do the easy and cheapest first. Make sure you have adequate fuel supply. Open the fuel line before the carbs, crank it and you should see plenty of fuel pumping out. No fuel, or eratic little pulses of fuel are a good indication of a ruptured fuel pump diaphram."
