hello i got finished with my rebuild today thanks to all of you that helped me/ a few more quick questions. rebuilding this motor should have not changed my timing should it. i made sure that the advancement linkage adjustment did not get disturbed when i tooked the motor apart and put it back together and my last question is the motor is not on a boat its a spare its on a stand can i start it on aset of muffs to see if everything is ok or in a barrel i dont want to damage it after this rebuild and i relize that it needs to be run on a boat for the break in period
