"I have an '03 DF70 that is new to me. My first trip out the engine would not spin past 3500 RPM. So the dealer took the four injectors and sent them to Florida to be rebuilt. Flow test before overhaul was 15,15,25 and 32. After rebuild they all flowed at 38. Engine runs fine now and runs up over 5000 RPM. Question is how could these injectors get so clogged as to reduce their flow so much? What can I do to be sure this does not occur again and what should the end of season proceedure be as it relates to the engine and fuel injectors? Thanks in advance.

Use as much as you can. Fish fish. Lack of use can cause it. Cheap fuel will too. Sentry Gas plus for storage.
