"I've read on here that there are separate sensors for the gauges and the warning alarm. Does anyone know the Ohms range for the Oil pressure and temp sensors? My alarm stays on after starting for a few minutes, then fades out, but sometime comes back on. The temp gauge, and oil gauges are reading normal. Any Suggestions? Thanks"

Whatever the "ohms" range is for the temp and oil gauges is what determines what the dashboard meters indicate. The alarm sensors are another story. They are on/off switch sensors and should read either something under 1 ohm or in the megohms. Check the connections to the alarm sensors for poor connections.

"Looks like it was the Water Temp Sensor. I disconnected it and the alarm went away, then checked it to find it was shorted when cold then it would warm up to open and the alarm would go away. I'm getting a new one. Thanks"
