"is the gas tank primer buld supposed to be hard while the engine is running. my motor will only run for a few minutes, then spits and sputters and dies. hard to restart"

"The bulb is on the suction side of the fuel pump...the only time it is hard is when you initially pump it before the engine starts....if it collapses completely when the engine runs, there is a restriction in the tank or hose or the vent is not open"
