1995 40hp tiller will not crank or start

"I really need some help! I was told the solenoid was to blame it has been changed with no difference. We have full power, when the ignition is turned in it beeps once, the motor will not crank? We also by passed the solenoid and the starter turns, but there seems to be no spark? Looking for any ideas!"

"Wait, troubleshoot it. Disconect the black/yellow wire on the switchbox and jump solinoid again. Motor should start, kill the engine with the choke. There are other possible problems with the wiring, but try that first."
