"Hello.. I'm new to this forum, and hope I am in compliance with the rules.
We have an 88 Suzuki DT150 engine. We had a dealer change the prop on it, and in the process, they left a spacer off the output shaft. In getting out on the lake we found that there seemed to be noises coming from the lower unit. We didn't run it long, took it back to the dealer, and they put the correct spacer on. When we went back out to the lake, we found we couldn't shift into either reverse or forward. Came home and pulled the lower unit, then the clutch mechanism, and found that the "Shifter Yoke" is broken. Question.. do we need to pull the input/output shafts and gears to get the clutch unit back in properly. We don't have a repair manual, but are looking for one.
Any help is appreciated
. Thank you."
