I have a Mckee 185 with a 2003

I have a Mckee 185 with a 2003 Suzuki 115 HP 4 stroke motor. It is very hard to steer. There appears to be 3 different little grease knobs on the motor near the stearing rod. Should I grease all 3? What type of grease should I use? Is there something else I should check out?

Thanks in advance.

"The outside fittings are for

"The outside fittings are for the engine tilt shaft and the other is the steering cable. You should have been hitting these with a pump or two after every trip or at least I do. Use marine grade grease, any brand of your choise.

Also grease the turning shaft of the engine. This could be your problem as well."

The chrome rod is attached to

The chrome rod is attached to the steering cable..the pivot shaft sits one spot further aft...if you tilt the engine up you will see the pivot point..there is a shaft in there as well...these need grease to keep things moving freely you will feel a neglected steering cable on the helm..the power tilt motor will feel the neglected pivot shaft
