For the charging and tach chec

For the charging and tach check your rectifier/regulator according to your manual. Have you checked for 12V going to your fuel gauge?

JW the volt meter shows no charge also the rev counter is not working also no power to the fuel tank gauge always rains lol.

IBNFISHIN . I have only just purchased boat so have not yet got a manual also the eng no: is rubbed off as it was only a sticker type not a ali plate . The motor is a evinrude 140 hp v4 vro counter rotation ,colour blue / black ? with silver and red pin stripes .

"ok.....turn key on...see if u have voltage to those gages,u prob wont...u need a test lite,and a flashlite,...u need to see how they r powered,normaly off the ign key,...might be off another sw....ck the ground connections."
