"do you hear the fuel pump turn on ? put your hand on it see if you fan feel it spinning. 96' 12 years old, same fuelpump tech as most chev's replaced my 97 tahoe last year. when you try to start it, what does the engine sound like ? normal? laboring? turning fast ? slow ? try squirting some carb cleaner in the throttle body when cranking, or spray some 1-2 secs, then try starting see if it starts momentarily, dont use starter fluid."

"I had same problem last season on my 97, 454/7.4 EFI. Turned out to be the Ignition Relay located by the ECM. There are two Relays there side by side. Identical Part#, one for Fuel Pump and the other is the Ignition Relay. About 29.00 each. Change out both and carry a spare onboard. Al W. Please inform us if this works. Thanks to Guy Gasper on this one."

I've heard nothing buy goo

I've heard nothing buy good things about SeaFoam. Mostly Decarboning thru Intake Maniflod on a Truck Forum. Can anyone offer why it may help the Combustion function? Al W.
