you should have a lil rubber button to kill it..........or you could choke it, but that may make the next start a lil harder since you ridk fouling the plug.

on the button one of the wires should go to ground and the other wire should be black-w/yellow stripe....."

Must be on the lower cover I think. Later models had it on the end of the tiller arm but then its shown on the diagrams with the tiller.
 
The motor does not have a stop

The motor does not have a stop button on that year mdl you simply twist the throttle down as low as it goes and it will stop
