My BF75L would staying ideling when I put the choke in

Hey everyone hoping to get som

Hey everyone hoping to get some help with this one the problem is my boat motor starts almost every pull no problem it runs fine when I have the choke out but as soon as I put the choke in it starts to bog and then eventually it dies on me. Does anyone have any suggestions on whats wrong or what can I do to fix this problem. That would be great thanks in advance
 
The serial number is BF75L 140

The serial number is BF75L 1402862 and do you know where i could get a service manual book or something along though lines?

Hey would it be bad to run my motor for awhile with some carb clean going through it with the choke out or will it do nothing for me?
