"Since there is some spark you can no longer do simple resistance tests on the ignition - they will show fine (or good enough).
It could be a coil starting to go. Have you tried swapping the coils around and seeing if the problem moves? That's the (cheap fix) and a new coil goes for about 35 bucks.
If the coils are fine then you need to get the motor tested out with a DVA tester to read the actual voltages being produced by the stator.
Aside from the coils, the weak spark could be caused by a bad switchbox (expensive) or a bad stator (ever a little more expensive)...."
