Does anyone have the factory p

Does anyone have the factory paint code or exact name of the OMC factory color? I'm going to give mine a new coat of paint.

It would help a lot to know what drive or year or color your talking about? Some of the dealers still have some NOS spray bombs on their shelves.
 
OMC blue. Mine is a '78 b

OMC blue. Mine is a '78 but as far as I know most OMC engines were all the same shade of blue.

Has anybody recently purchased OMC blue? I just need enough to repaint my engine. Looks like it may be hard to come by in my area without paying an arm and a leg.

"You may want to give these guys a call, they list a Sierra paint that cross references the OMC part number 172836 (deep blue 1971-1983)

Thanks Bob. OMC blue is indeed a unique color that appears very difficult to color match. The Sierra paint looks exactly what I was looking for.
