"I am trying to rebuild a jabs

"I am trying to rebuild a jabsco 18940-0010 raw water pump. It is the same as aSherwood g-5 or g-7B pump. I can't get the pulley off! I removed the roll pijn and set screw. The pulley does not want to come off. I tried a hub puller,but the pulley started to bend. A blow torch did not help either. Any ideas????

"You have to use an acetylene

"You have to use an acetylene torch and concentrate the heat on the pulley only. That's trick to it. Using a Benzomatic (or etc.) heats the whole works up together. I'd also dribble water on the shaft, behind the pulley, to keep it cooler.
