Yes! Good one. Consistent with behavior. Happened on my motorcycle once - baffled me for too long. Forgot that one.

"Similar thing was happening to me when i ran off my port tank. I could switch from port tank to starboard and actually hear the vacuum pressure reliving. Stopped using the port tank except at the dock. Did some inspection of the fuel lines and that tanks fuel line showed some serious deterioration. Thats one of my jobs this spring, replacing that line. On a side note, engine started right up yesterday,.. always a happy note when your engines 25 years old.

You're lucky...you wouldn&

You're lucky...you wouldn't believe how many splices the factory put mine in with...with 1/2" plastic double hose barbs no less ....
