150 super six missing bad

I had the motor up to 5300 rpm

I had the motor up to 5300 rpms then it just hesitated and and started to miss horribly. I checked the compression and all cylinder where at 100 psi. Now I'm lost. Fuel issue? Ignition? not sure where to start

"You mentioned compression check. What about spark plugs. I know its 12 of them, but it might be worth checking that you don't have bad ones. Until recently (burned piston) I had an 87 150 SS, Every cylseemed fine on muffs, but out on lake, I could tell it wasn't running right, though it wasn't anything but a dead miss. I found when I got home that the spark plugs on my #5 cyl were not firing under load, in fact they looked new, white porcelin, but wet with gas/oil. I found a set of used coils on eBay and changed the coil and was back in business. Now motor is dead, bought an 88 dt 150 with bad lower unit, so should have it back on boat in a few days."
