Mariner 55hp smoking problem

"Hello, I have got a mariner 55hp (serial number 663L 31215) it has been out of the water for about 5 years. it starts and runs ok and idles with no noticeable smoke. When it is run with the flush muffs on again it doesn't smoke but when i put the motor in a container with water (as if it was in the sea) it will idle with no smoke but when I give it a rev it bellows oily smoke up through the covers and out any opening it can. I am running 50:1 fuel mix and i have renewed the entier fuel system, lines, filters etc and I have cleaned out the carbs.

"How did you clean out the carbs? Spraying cleaner down the throats does nothing. The need to be disassembled, cleaned with carb cleaner and reassembled with new gaskets, needle and seat. You should also replace the impeller as they can dry rot from sitting so long."

I completely disassembled the carbs and cleaned out. I have also replaced the impeller.

those 2 cylinders were bad for

those 2 cylinders were bad for blowing power head gaskets.you probably wouldnt notice it until it had some back pressure
