No trim function

"2003 suzuki df70 stored all winter and now tried to drop motor and trim just clicks wont go up or down..
what do i do now??
please help. i relieved pressure and manually dropped motor and water came out!! ouch!! can move up and down by hand but not all the way up to get back in the locked/storage posistion. hit
switch with valve open and still just clicks???
is motor seized or is there a way to get it running??
please any info would be greatly appreciated, thanks."
 
If water came out you must hav

If water came out you must have completely removed the m valve. Nothing but hydraulic fluid should have come out. But you didn't need to completely remove the m valve to lower the engine. If water laid in the tnt system all winter there is a good chance the hydraulic pump as well as the electric motor could be locked up. you will need to locate where the water is getting in. Remove the electric motor for inspection. More than likely the electric motor is junk.
Should be a two wire system. to test the electric motor disconnect the blue and green wire at the trim solonoids. It dosen't matter which one go's to positive or negative side of battery for testing purposes. This a reverse polarity system electric motor should energize if not you know what has happened.
