I am having trouble finding in

I am having trouble finding information on this motor. I cant lift the motor it seems to be stuck there is no external pump no lines either ther are 2 hyd rams I need any info I can get on a motor of this age HELP I want to get the power trim working so I can get this boat in the water.

I dont think this is lift assi

I dont think this is lift assist the motor is not wired right. I will pos a few pics of my disaster I am trying to get running. since I got the boat this way and currently am out of work I figure I have time on my hand will post pictures soon

"lift assist on a merc means i

"lift assist on a merc means it has 2 shocks to help you lift it, no power to anything, no hoses. Putting it in fwd gear releases the reverse locking pin, this pin also locks the motor down in neutral.

Its also possible it had the remote tilt unit mounted in the boat and someone removed it???"

directly under the carb, next to the steering arm is a electric plug follow this to the POWER TRIM motor. On the hydralic pump you should see a vent/manual release screw, open it to move the engine by hand."
