My 350 chevy OMC has the rear
My 350 chevy OMC has the rear exhaust outlet log style of manifolds. They were cracked before and had a quick fix to them just to get by but now i want to buy new manifolds. I have heard that putting the Mercruiser manifolds on there would be more fuel efficient and more economical in the long run. The problem i have with believing this is that the merc manifolds have the exhaust outlet in the middle and they say i would have to buy some sort of spacer kit and have a longer exhaust hose to make it fit up to my current system. And then i would have to get the water lines plumbed into the manifolds too... Is this anything worth messing with or am i getting pumped full of crap? I think it sounds a bit shady but im not too familiar with this conversion deal. Thanks for any and all help.
