"My 1970 TMD 70 has the crankcase vent on the starboard side of the engine. Is this supposed to be vented to the intake system, or just into the engine room, like it is now? Being an older engine, there is a fair amount of blow-by, and it creates a fairly thick haze in the engine room."

"You dont say which version of the TMD70 you have but as far as I can see none has any connection to the air intake.

The owners manual for the TMD70A, which I downloaded, indicates that the breather should be taken above deck. No specific mention of it in the manuals for the other versions though."
