Hi.
My VRO is leaking gas out

Hi.
My VRO is leaking gas out of the top on the oil side when I use the squeece bulb to prime. Can this be repaired? Can I use only the fuel pump side? I don't want to buy a new one. I have read on this sight that a old style pump can be used. What part number would that be. Can small gear clamps by used if I don't tighten to tight?

"the proper way to approach this,would be to repl the pump assm....400.00...now,u can get the fuel only side for 340.00 or so..your intake ,may very well could be fitted w/vacuum tubes to run the older style pumps..look at an 83 150.. at shop.evinrude.com"
