2004 model 115 2stroke trim problems

When i trim up sometimes it do

When i trim up sometimes it doesnt work and i have to press the button a few times.It never does it when trimming down .It does it on the forward controls and on the motor itself. Any ideas to try and help be appreciated.
 
check your connections on swic

check your connections on swicth. i had that problem on the back swicth for tilt i cleaned swicth connections. now good to go.
 
Are the trim solenoids the two

Are the trim solenoids the two black small(50mm approx) approx on the left hand side (when looking forward)off the motor . When i trim up and down they tend to click. When it doesnt work the top one tends to click quite loud . i gather that what you are talking about.If so is there anything i can do to clean or blow dust out etc?
 
most Yamis use a relay box

most Yamis use a relay box
you can not switch relays like mercs or john/rude
you have to replace the whole things

but in this motor case you have solenoids which you can swap them around
