2004 90 hp yamaha 2cycle hard start cold

My motor is hard to start. If

My motor is hard to start. If I flip on emergency enrichment vale it will start. How do I tell if power is going to enrichment valve? it looks like it is tied into the wiring for the rectifier. The plugs are new and carbs have been disasembled and cleaned.

I bought an online manual it has the yamaha logo it looks like a factory manual but it lacks any real diagnosis instructions. bare bones details.
 
I talked to a yamaha mechanic

I talked to a yamaha mechanic and he told me to
clean out the idle passages and now it fires up
with a tap of the key
