"91 Carver 33 aft-cabin.454's 330 h.p....WOT can reach 4600 and boat will plane in about 3-4 seconds with 22"x23 pitch 4 blade props.2:59 reduction velvet drive.Ran this last year at 3300-3500 rpm's but giving up fuel and speed and now looking for 22"x25 pitch 4 blades and should be 10% faster at lower rpm's while saving fuel, but most importantly...not loading the engine.todd"

Note: Todd stated that his boat leaps onto plane easily. If YOUR boat groans onto plane, then don't add pitch to the props!

"3607 Carver w/22X22 4bladed Mich. wheels. Just had them prp Scannned by Holland Prop. here in Mich. Can`t wait to see the diff. Do to high fuel costs I have been trawling this boat for the last two years, and boy what a savings. It helps to be retired also and in no hurry !!!
21,500 lbs of boat,fuel water and gear @ 2200 rpm she is in displacement mode aprox. 11mph, fuel burn from my NorthStar 660 shows 12gph total."
