"just installed a new 8.1 repower and sea trialed well. One stand out issue to resolve. New engine has high whistle sound coming from stainless mesh throttle body flame arrestor screen area. Crusader sent us a retrofit plate with 2 gaskets, but whistle is still apparent, although at different rpm ranges it seems. Whistle is less but still very obvious. Any thoughts or suggestions from the field. Many thanks to all.
