Recently purchased boat with H

Recently purchased boat with Honda BF130. Unable to take engine cover off ?? Front lever ok but side lever does not appear to release locking mechanism Afraid it is siezed and any force will break plastic lever Any ideas

Ask previous owner if he had issues and how he got it off? Hopefully he has a method...once you get it off you can fix it.

i have a 90 right now with the back latch welded shut from salt also!
