1989 tilt trim motor replacement

"I have a 1989 Mercury V6 outb

"I have a 1989 Mercury V6 outboard. The trim motor is out. Does anyone know how to remove the motor? I cannot get to the back screw. It is between the back of the boat and the transom bracket. Is there a special tool? thanks, greg"
