"I would like to merge the Exhaust Manifolds on my 1997,7.4,I/O, Mercruiser to the existing Closed Cooling System. What needs to be done? Thanks as always, Al W."

If you have a manual it will show the differece between the 2 systems. Basically a few gaskets an hoses.

"And if the boat has been running in salt water, you will have a real problem getting all the old deposits and crud out of the old manifolds.
If you are serious about doing this, get new manifolds and the correct heat exchanger."
