"I have a 79 15 hp that I got from my grandpa he told me it used to run. It's getting spark, compression seems good (finger in plug hole) and it's getting fuel. Thought it was flooding (wet plug) and cleaned and rebuilt the carb but it is extreamly hard to get to fire. Fuel is fresh and tank is venting. It has a very hard time pulling out when trying to start. I'm no outboard mechanic and I grew frustrated and put it away til winter, well it's winter and I still don't know where to turn next please help."

This may or may note be of interest to you. I have a Chrysler 15 hp. motor that I have had in the barn for a few years. Without going out to look at it I'm thinking that this motor is a 1980. It ran good 4 or 5 years ago. So if your looking for a motor for parts I would sell is for $150. plus shipping. I haven't used it because I have a much bigger boat now and the motor was to good to give away. [email protected] .
