"Hi everyone, new to this plac

"Hi everyone, new to this place. I have a question. I just got a new boat with a DF175 on it and i'm going to be using fuel with ethanol. On my other engines(yamaha) i've been using startron and ring free since day one, can i use tha same stuff on this motor ? is it going to void any warranty ? does Suzuki have their own version of ring free? Thanks, and sorry about all my questions."

The answer SHOULD be no. If you just purchased the boat new ask the service guys. You need to run something to stablize and treat for E10. Startron/Starbrite and ring free are a good combination.

Personally I would not dream of running the engine without StarBrite/StarTron in the gas. Ring free is an option that I would personally skip and substitute with an SeaFoam engine de-carb treatment every 50 hours maybe 100 hours for a 4-stroke. This is just me. Many others have their own opinion."
