"I have a Chrysler 318 in a 34' houseboat. If it has plenty of warmup time, then I leave the buoy and cruise slowly out of the marina, everything's fine. If I have to move in reverse, then swing around to forward and add a little speed, there's a big BOOM every 15 seconds for the first minute or two. I have plenty of oil and trans fluid. Is it just cavitation?
thanks"
