"My outboard used to run like a top. Unfortunately, it has sat since March of 2008 outside on my boat. The motor will turn over but will not fire. I put winterizer in the fuel tank, but nothing else has been tried. I am a novice with boat engines. Does anyone have suggestions for what would be the first things I would want to do to get it started? Thanks."

my 115 is carbureted. Took me

my 115 is carbureted. Took me awhile to find out it was hard to crank if trimmed up at all. Suppose gravity affects fuel flow in the carbs.Make sure it is trimmed down.
