What is the correct way to flu

What is the correct way to flush this thing? All I use it for is salt water and I can't get a clear answer on the correct way. Please help.

"Well do you trailer it, if so when you get home hook up the muffs to the lower unit(where the water intake is), and turn on the water then start the motor. Let it run for a min. or two. Then stut off the motor and water. If trailered, if you have a way to flush the brakes might be in your best interest. Hope this helps."
