iv not come accross these engi

iv not come accross these engines much in the uk i have a trophy with a 120 force the engine is dying the cowl is getting exhaust gas inside then killing the engine but if u trim the engine 1/4 up it wont do it seems to be leaking from sumwhere any ideas

"Dean, most probably a bad powerhead base gasket or exhaust cover gasket.

If you run it with a little extra oil in the mix and the cover off, you should be able to spot where it's coming from (by all the blue smoke)


If from the side of the motor, replace the exhaust cover gasket - from under the motor, you have to remove the powerhead and get the new gasket that goes between the powerhead and the (leg) exhaust housing."
