"Any tacho will do and the harnesses are available to plug into your control box or wire direct.If you do go for a tacho be careful when connecting the harness to the tacho, fried tachos are an expensive lesson.I have that particular t-shirt.

"I would double check the direction of the impeller. I have twins and I inadvertently installed one of my impellers backwards. I was very careful to install it right and still managed to put it in wrong. The engine temp slowly crepped up until the warning buzzard sounded. I reversed the impeller and the engine now runs very cool. When the impeller was backwards, I had water coming out of the pee hole but with less pressure.

It is very easy to accidentally install the impeller backwards."
 
make sure its a brand new inpe

make sure its a brand new inpeller and facing the correct way and the key seal is located firmly i had same problem if your impellar looks like a starfish its stuffed
make sure everything is sealed tight around the gasket and the waterpump
