i posted the wrong info this m

i posted the wrong info this morning. i did a little research and i found the stamp on the side of the motor. thanks for the tips VICKS. its a tn 26 5hp @4000rpm. is there a special tool to remove the gas cap?

TN-26 is also listed as 1950/51 and TN-27

According to the list I'm looking at 1946 would be TD-20 or TS-20
 
Wrap the cap with about 1/8&#3

Wrap the cap with about 1/8" of masking tape. This is so you don't mar the cap. Use a suitable pair (size) of channel-loc pliers grip firmly and attempt to unscrew. Hopefully the cap will come off.
