"working on a binnacle control

"working on a binnacle control for a 98 70hp, newer style box. someone before me changed the control cables, and when they did so, it has no throttle in reverse. how do i fix this. it has plenty of throttle in foward but none in reverse, please help thanks"

"its a poss u have the cables mixed up,in the wrong place....there should be an 'omc' or brp stamped for location,but u still have to hook them up correctly."
