Starter seems to spin but the bendix (or whatever it's called now) does'nt seem to engage or if it does it does'nt stay engaged long enough. Is it possible the starter is'nt going fast enough for the gear to engage or could the sliding gear be held up in some way? Battery seems to be fully charged. Thanks.

A common problem is the 'clutch' in the bendix itself that slips similar to the prop hubs. In that case bendix has to be changed.

NO possible way to repair the bendix?
Thanks
