"My motor has a 9 1/2 x 10 on it now. What would I gain or loose if I tried some of the other offerings? I'd like good low gas consumption but still be able to pull a skier reliably.
10 1/4 x 10, 10 x 11, 10 x 9 1/4

Thank You,

"You want to prop to W.O.T.rpm

"You want to prop to W.O.T.rpm. if Your current prop gets you near to rated max, that's the one to keep. over proping will hurt performance, and won't save gas. under proping will get more hole shot, but will over rev motor. all depends on boat, and load, that you did not mention."

It's a 16ft Crosby Vee Hul

It's a 16ft Crosby Vee Hull. It's rated for 1700 lbs.

I looked at the prop and it's a 10 x 9 1/4. Seems to work ok. Get's a skier out of the water pretty good and the motor runs well.
