"I have an old evinrude with no serial number on it, it uses the 2 fuel line system. I think it might be around a 7 hp it is a 2 cylinder. can anyone tell me what feul ratio I should be running in this?

"Pertaining to the model and serial number. An old Evinrude should have either a plate on the port (left) transom bracket (the bracket that clamps to the boat), or on the immediate front of the swivel bracket (bracket that the engine tilts and swivels on). There may also be a core plug (looks like a small quarter size freeze out plug) on the powerhead itself with those numbers on it.

If you find the model number, get back to us and we'll let you know exactly what you have.

To be on the safe side, use the fuel/oil mixture that existed prior to the 50/1 mixture. That would be the 24/1 mixture (1Qt of 50/1 TCW-III oil to 6gal gas). A octane rating of 87 will be fine."
 
ok I found these numbers 7518

ok I found these numbers 7518 and 98884. so I think it is a 55 7.5hp.
 
It is indeed a 1955 7.5hp Evin

It is indeed a 1955 7.5hp Evinrude. Use the fuel/oil mixture of 24/1 as listed above.
