I have a pretty new Merc 90 ELPTO and when I first got it I can remember the water came out of the hole with lots of pressure. Since last fall, the water coming out of the hole has been fairly weak - even at wide open. I asked the dealer to have a look and he said everything was fine. Should I be concerned or is everything ok? I wasn't totally convinced about the dealers explanation that so long as some water is coming out everything is fine... Someone also mentioned that Mercs vary the amount of water going through with temperature.. Whereas my old 9.9 johnson just pours a strong stream out at all times. Appreciate any advice and clarification. Thanks!"
